SPIE and Incooling enter into a strategic partnership for a revolution in the data centre world.

Data Centre is the new frontier in the fight against climate change.

Eindhoven, 18th January 2021 SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the field of energy and communication, has entered into a partnership with Incooling. Incooling is a deep tech venture working on innovations that can make data centres much more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. Together with Incooling, SPIE will introduce these innovations in data centres in the Netherlands.

Incooling is developing innovations that fit perfectly with SPIE’s ambitions to provide energy-saving solutions for its customers. With a mission to cool down the planet one server at a time, their unique phase-change cooling solution is designed to dramatically improve energy efficiency whilst enabling the data centre industry to reach its full potential.

SPIE and Incooling met on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven where SPIE delivers and services data centre solutions to several customers. To further expand its portfolio of services, SPIE scouted Incooling, and the partnership is now in effect.

Incooling has developed an integrated cooling solution that is aimed at increasing the computing performance of servers. Their phase change cooling solution removes the heat directly at the source, resulting in maximised server performance and lower energy consumption. 

Ruud van der Hoeven, Data Centres Business Unit Manager at SPIE Nederland B.V., is excited about the partnership: “SPIE’s customers belong to the most demanding customers in the world. SPIE already offers various cooling solutions for data centre environments. However, Incooling’s innovation is an excellent addition to the broad portfolio of current SPIE solutions.
