Incooling wins Taipei media vote

During the InnoVEX exhibition, 29-31 of May in Taipei, Holland lounge held a local media voting event. In total 12 teams pitched (6 from Taiwan and six from the Netherlands) in the presence of John Jorritsma, Mayor of Eindhoven and Chen Chunjing, deputy mayor of New Taipei City, Huang Li’an, a partner of internationally renowned venture capital Infinity Ventures. Each startup had to pitch for 2 minutes, and the proposals were evaluated by four criteria: proposal presentation, problem statement, solution, and market potential. At the end of the competition, Incooling in the Netherlands and Orderly from New Taipei City won the round-trip ticket for Taiwan and Netherlands free of charge and will participate in a customized landing plan for international exchange. Incooling will return to Taipei to participate in new opportunities for joint ventures between Amazon and New Taipei through AWS.


The other group’s winning team, Orderly’s proposal, is a cross-platform e-commerce data decision system that provides small and medium e-commerce data value-added services. They will also receive round-trip airfare from Taipei and the Netherlands, and participate in the ground-starting program of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs for the startup in The Hague.

In a speech at the opening of the Dutch Trade and Investment Office, Guy Wittich, the Netherlands last year reelected Taiwan’s largest foreign direct investor. Amounting to more than NT$100 billion, many of which were invested in high-tech and electronics manufacturing, showing the Netherlands Emphasis on Taiwan’s manufacturing technology and capabilities; the Dutch government also sees InnoVEX as one of the strategic exhibitions for new global industries
